2025 City of Unley Business Survey

The City of Unley is committed to the goal of “a unique and vibrant destination that attracts and retains a diverse mix of businesses, industries and opportunities”.

As part of this commitment, the City of Unley commissioned its second Business Sentiment Survey, following a benchmark study conducted in 2023. The purpose of this survey was to observe any changes in business sentiment over the past two years and to obtain baseline data against key objectives outlined in the City of Unley 4-Year Delivery Plan.

An independent market researcher led the survey to ensure objectivity, credibility, and that strategic insights were appropriately captured. The intent was to engage a broad cross-section of businesses across the City of Unley, including those operating within business precincts and home-based businesses.

The 2025 Unley Business Survey received 162 responses, providing a representative dataset that reflected insights in business confidence, Council engagement and service satisfaction. A snapshot of the survey results can be found below.
