Small Business Fundamentals Program

Build your knowledge in finance, marketing, HR, strategic planning, and more through workshops, seminars, mentoring, and training. Delivered across SA by partner organisations at subsidised or no cost.

Women in Business Programs

Empowering women entrepreneurs is a key focus, with several tailored programs available:

Women in Business Foundations Program

Mentoring for women small business owners to improve management capability and grow their business. For just $220 (incl. GST), eligible participants receive up to 6 mentoring sessions.

Scholarships and leadership development delivered by Behind Closed Doors. Participants join a confidential support network to share strategies and challenges.

Starting in 2024, this program offers low or no-cost support for small business owners and their employees. Services include masterclasses, psychologist-led sessions, webinars, and online tools to build resilience and wellbeing.

Delivered by sustainability experts 2XE Pty Ltd, this program helps businesses adopt environmentally sustainable practices through:

  • 18 free workshops across SA
  • One-on-one consultations
  • Sustainability assessments for selected businesses

Powering Business Grant

Grants from $2,500 to $75,000 are available to help small and medium businesses invest in energy-efficient equipment and reduce energy costs.

Algal Bloom Support

For marine industry businesses impacted by the recent algal bloom, financial relief is available:

  • Up to $100,000 for fisheries and aquaculture businesses
  • $10,000 grants for small businesses and not-for-profits experiencing revenue loss
