Food premise construction & fit-out
Unley is known as a great location for a coffee, a full restaurant experience and everything in between.
Food business operators are required to ensure that their premise is designed and constructed to minimise opportunities for food contamination.
If you own, operate or are looking to start a food business, refer to the Food Premise Construction and Fit-out Guidelines Fact Sheet..
Standard 3.2.3 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code sets out requirements for the design and construction of food premises, fixtures, fittings, equipment and food transport vehicles. Some exemptions apply to temporary food businesses and businesses operating from a private home.
