It started out as two best friends showing off their favourite brunch spots in Adelaide…

After almost five years of working in breakfast radio together, Lauren De Cesare and Hayley Pearson missed each other. What started as an Instagram page highlighting some of their favourite spots in the state, would evolve to see the pair creating Adelady, a successful media company based right here in Unley.

Speaking to them about the moment when they realised Adelady had become more than a passion project, they said it didn’t take long before they’d amassed a strong following, and Channel 9 approached them to launch a television show.

‘We started getting feedback from businesses saying that when we posted about them online, our followers were racing to check them out; it was really organic, and we still focus on and share about the businesses we really love today.’

What Adelady does is unique, and the company has established itself as a genuine media influence in South Australia.

Adelady’s growing team of smart, switched-on women has an expansive list of local businesses they help by promoting them to their huge following across all their platforms – social media, website, magazine and TV show, hello SA.

And - as if they weren’t busy enough already - this powerhouse collective has just launched a new business, Pineapple Media SA, to further support others with their public relations, social media, and event planning.

With a strong, committed team behind them, it seems the sky’s the limit for Lauren and Hayley.
