The 2025 City of Unley Business Awards Ceremony a Night of Celebration!
The 2025 City of Unley Business Awards night was an unforgettable evening that captured the heart and soul of our thriving business community. It was a night of celebration and recognition for businesses that have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and community engagement.
Hosted by media personality and Unley resident Stacey Lee and guest speakers Theo Maras and Oliver Brown, attendees experienced a night of inspiration and laughter at Arkaba Hotel as 150 business leaders, community members and sponsors gathered to honour finalists and winners.
Congratulations to Arkaba Hotel, who took home the Outstanding Contribution to the Community Award for their commitment to community support. From hosting inclusive dinners with Autism SA to sponsoring dozens of local sporting clubs, charities, and schools, the Arkaba invests heavily in community initiatives. Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SAwon the Leader in Sustainability and Environment award, with solar panels and rainwater harvesting to compostable packaging and five-stream recycling systems, the RA&HS has embedded sustainability into every corner of its operations.
Complete Cafe Services received the Leader in Transformation and Innovation Award, with a repair-first philosophy, hands-on barista training, recycling coffee machines and supporting inclusive barista programs. This year saw the introduction of a new category, Emerging Business of the Year which was awarded to Metcalf Group SA for their focus on Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) compliant housing, building independence, dignity, and community for people with disabilities.
The community’s favourite was once again Custom Podiatry Services, earning the People’s Choice Award for exceptional dedication to patient care.
