Explore Unley is a City of Unley initiative launching in November 2026 that encourages residents, workers and visitors to discover something different across Unley's vibrant shopping, dining and lifestyle precincts.
Partnering with Why Leave Town (Australia's leading local gift card platform), we'll be offering a Digital Gift Card program that helps connect customers with local businesses within the City of Unley, including home-based businesses.

Register Your Business
Yes. Home-based businesses located within the City of Unley are encouraged to participate, provided they have a compatible card payment solution, such as Square or another EFTPOS system.
Participating businesses may be featured across campaign marketing, the Explore Unley Business Trail, Faces of Unley content series, social media content and other promotional opportunities. Point-of-sale and social media promotional materials will also be provided to help promote your involvement in the campaign.
No. Participation does not require businesses to provide discounts, purchase new equipment or sell Digital Gift Cards. Businesses simply accept the Explore Unley Digital Gift Card as a payment method through their existing EFTPOS system or compatible card payment solution.
Shopping with an Explore Unley Digital Gift Card is so easy for your customers. All they need to do is purchase a Digital Gift Card, and then they can start shopping!

Customers are encouraged to redeem their Explore Unley Digital Gift Cards during the campaign period to take advantage of promotional activities and prize draw opportunities. However, they are valid for up to three years from the date of issue.
