The application round for sponsorships will open again in 2026.
The Community Event Sponsorship Program aims to assist individuals, community groups, organisations, and not-for-profit groups to coordinate events that directly benefit the City of Unley community.
Applications for sponsorship will be considered for eligible festivals and events that can deliver against the program’s assessment criteria.
The City of Unley looks to support events that best align with the criteria and provide a return on investment by enhancing our annual events calendar, offer free or discounted, quality activities to the community and display a high level of excellence in administration and delivery.
The City of Unley invites expressions of interest for sponsorship outside of the formal round, subject to available funds.

Key dates
The formal application round will be open from Monday 4 May 2026.
Applications will close at midnight on Sunday 14 June 2026. Applications are assessed in July and recommendations will be presented to Council at its meeting on Monday 24 August 2026. All applicants will then be notified of funding request outcomes from Monday 31 August 2025.
