Amy's Beauty and Beyond salon services

A move from New Zealand to Adelaide saw Divya Sharma leaving an established business behind to start again in a new country. 

Amy’s Beauty & Beyond - Hair, Beauty and Nails Salon opened in Malvern in 2022. 

‘We wanted to locate the business in one of Adelaide’s top suburbs, somewhere central with a variety of clients, in an established community rather than a developing area. Location was key for us’ Divya says. 

‘The area is very vibrant, and we love it. We attract a lot of foot traffic due to the diverse businesses in our shopping complex and the council has been very helpful too.’ 

The salon offers a range of hair, nail, and beauty services for all ages. 

‘My services are for everyone, from kids to older people, and I really love it as I get to see a variety of people every day’ Divya says. 

‘The professional services my clients receive, all in a very friendly environment, makes us stand out from other salons.’  

‘My clients appreciate my threading, eyelash extension, hair treatments and facials so much that when they experience those, they always want to come back to me only.’ 

Happy with the growth of her business, Divya is looking forward to the future with confidence. 

‘Within only five months I’ve developed a client base of over 250 people which I feel is very good’ she says. 

‘I’m very confident that business is growing in the right direction.’
